Webcast next week
October 05, 2010 @ 09:10 AM

Big news! Next Wednesday, October 13th, we’re participating in a webcast with Advent Conspiracy, Living Water International, and 3 churches that have done [AC] over the past few years. It’s going to be a interesting and hopefully really useful time for all of us to think abut the way we celebrate Christmas.
We’re going to talk about the ideals of Advent Conspiracy:
[Worship Fully]
[Spend Less]
[Give More]
[Love All]
And how they play out in our families and communities during the Christmas season.
Nancy Ortberg is hosting the webcast, and it will be followed by a LIVE Q&A with the participants. We’ve got some more details below, so take a look and make sure to share this with your friends.
Hope to see you there!

Our new little baby church plant in Quebec City got involved with AC last year and gave to Living Water.
Today I listened to this webcast and was truly blessed. I then listened to two more videos by Nathan George. All very important and life-changing messages. My mind’s wheels have really been turning all day.
Two of our church members started a Ten Thousand Villages store a couple years ago. It’s really struggling from lack of business. But it’s the Christians I’m most concerned about. I don’t believe that most Christians would connect Fair Trade in any way with living out our faith. How do we get our church behind this?? Your idea of having a Black Friday Festival is really getting the creative juices flowing. THE Church and the church should be in the lead for this way of spending our dollars. If you’d have any advice for us, any council, we’d really be so grateful.
And…will you be ever putting any children’s t-shirts up for sale? I would really love for my 3 boys to have a “Do justice” shirt.
Thanks again so much for all the great info, teaching, inspiration you were to me today.
God bless you!
