1. It works
We’ve yet to do a weekend with a church that wasn’t both exciting and meaningful. People are constantly thanking both us and the church leadership for giving them the opportunity to do something so practical and easy for the global poor. 2. It’s easy
It really takes very little effort on your part. We do all the work behind the scenes. If we do something together on a weekend, all we really need is time (about 5-10 minutes of a service) and space (about 12 tables to display in the lobby).
3. It’s free
We’re about engaging the collective spending power of the American church on behalf of the least of these, not about fundraising by charging churches to be there on a weekend. We want an equal partnership based on a common vision, not a transaction, so there is no cost to the church.
